Kat Von D 10th Anniversary Metal Crush Gold Skool Highlighter Review

This highlighter is a limited edition release for the brands 10th anniversary and they noticed several fans were using KvD Metal Crush eyeshadows as a highlighter. Right then they knew they needed to create an actual highlighter that was just as extreme as the eyeshows. Gold Skool has a white-pearl look in the pan, but as soon as you put this highlighter on your skin the white base melts away and leaves a gold look. There are microglitter in here, but it is very fine and weightless which is such an important factor. After applying the product and the look in the mirror you don’t see an intense shine, but the second I turn my head the powder flashes intensely. This is a perfect highlighter – it is not just a stripe of color on your skin. It blends so well!

Usually when I apply my makeup I will spray my beauty blender with setting spray to keep my highlighter on all day, but I have noticed this will last all day without any setting spray. I did notice that this has a lot of ‘fall out’ which can be annoying and mess up the base of your foundation. This shade is universal and the formula is amazing. You get a lot of product for what you spend on this.
